Hello! My name is Sarah Abernathy. I am happily married to my husband Jon and we have four wonderful children.We reside in Joplin, Missouri where we own a local construction business. I work full time there, attend church and volunteer in ministry, and if those things don't keep me busy enough, our four children take up what minimal time remains. My number one priority in life is living in a way that is pleasing to The Lord and leading people to Him in the process. I am passionate about church, spending time with my family, crafting, and my newest adventure- blogging. I cant wait to share with you all my own personal experiences and life lessons I have endured in this wonderful little thing we call life...

Family
The best part of my life, second to The Lord; My Family! I am so undeserving of these amazing people. My husband of four wonderful years and our beautiful children are the reason I get up and fight through each and every day. They are each special in their own way and have outstanding personalities. My husband, Jon, completes me. He is my best friend- my soul mate. Im so thankful that though we met at such dark times in our lives, The Lord still had a plan and brought beauty from our ashes! Im happy to say that we have been serving The Lord faithfully for five years together. My hubby brings me so much joy and I cant wait to see where The Lord takes us in the years to come. Our children are such a blessing to us! Though I didn't give the gift of life, life gave me the gift our our three beautiful girls. Laynee is our oldest daughter. She is independent, easy going, and full of Gods love. Our second oldest, Julie, is our entertainer, comedian, and has such a sensitive spirit. Macie, our youngest daughter, is our little mother hen, miss full of sass, and loves to take charge. All three of these girls love and adore our youngest baby BOY, Beckham Baylor! We prayed for this boy for what seemed like forever and God answered our prayers in His perfect timing! Jon and I are satisfied with four outstanding children and we wouldn't be the same without them! Dont get me wrong, if God blessed us with another child we would be ecstatic, but as of now, together we all make up the Abernathy Family! ;)
My Faith
I believe that The Lord has had a plan for my life and has known me before I entered into my mothers womb. However, I haven't always been saved and faithfully serving Him. It wasn't until about five years ago that I truly had an encounter with God and finally surrendered my life to Him. I had spent years and years of my life trying to live out my own purpose and desires, that in the end got me NOWHERE!! It seemed that each decision I made kept taking me into a deeper pit of loneliness, despair, and destruction. While trying to fill a void within me that was designed for God and God alone! Once I finally got saved all things became new! God began a work in me that is still going today! I have been saved, set free from bondage, healed in my body, and delivered from addictions that left me empty. I now have LIFE, and life abundant! God is my best friend. He is my go-to person in every circumstance in my life. He is faithful! He has never left me nor forsaken me! He is my strong tower. My Refuge. My Strength. My Peace. My Hope. My Protector. My Provider. My EVERYTHING! Without Him I am nothing!! I want to live all the rest of my life testifying to others just how good God has been to me and how good He wants to be to them! Oh how he longs to have relationship with us ALL! I am thankful that He draws me closer with each passing day and I am praying that through this blog page you will come to know Him more and feel Him draw you near to Him. I am believing for salvation, healing, deliverance, and for the super to invade the natural in each and everyone of your lives! May God bless you and keep you!
